Q. How Do I Place A Bet?
A. Quite simply choose your event (under Active Betting), choose the type of bet (this varies from one event to another)and click on the Bet Now button. This re-routes you to an online betting slip, then depending on the online bookmaker certain details will be taken and your bet wil be processed. Then be ready to count your winnings.
Q. What Does SP Mean?
A. SP is the starting price. Should your selection win you will be paid out at the odds of your selection at the start of the event.
Q. What is the Maximum Stake?
A. This differs between online bookmakers, but generally the maximum stake available for a selection can be seen either already on the betslip or by clicking 'Bet Max' on your betslip after making a selection.
Q. What Does Each Way Mean?
A. An each-way bet is a bet of twice the selected unit stake. It contains one bet for the selection to 'Win' and one bet for the selection to 'Place'. The place part of your bet will be settled in accordance with the place terms advertised for the event. Unfortunately each-way betting does not apply to 'two horse races', boxing, tennis etc.

Q. Am I Safe to Enter my Personal Details?
A. Here at Odds on Sport, we will never ask you for any personal details, other than possibly an E-mail address for the purpose of newsletters and promotional information (which is optional of course). When entering any other details, it will be with an online bookmaker. We only use reputable bookmakers who guarantee your personal details will not be disclosed to any third parties.
Q. How do I Claim my Winnings?
A. Again this differs from one online bookmaker to another, but generally you will have opened an account to place your bet, and the account details you give will be credited immediately, given the right result of course!
