The trainers job is done they have got their charges to the post now its down to horsemanship.
As they line up for the Grand National you will see one of the differences a good jockey makes, some will line up wide of the field and others will line up at the rail position even though the fence will be sturdier built but a having good jumper the jockey will save a lot of ground rather than going the scenic, safer route. Again may i say that as with the trainer of a horse the same applies to a jockeys on grand national runners the price will shorten because of his high profile or with the association he has with the stable he is riding for.
